Scripture: Genesis 2:15-17, 3:1-7

As we begin our Lenten journey, we reflect on our spiritual reality and seek hope in the Lord of suffering and resurrection. Today’s word reminds us through the ‘first temptation and failure’ in the Garden of Eden that human sin stems from a ‘broken relationship’ with God.

We often forget that we are glorious beings created in God’s image and slip away from the relationship of trust with Him, the source of our life. During this Lent, may we respond to the call to “Return to the Lord” and experience the blessing of restoring our relationship with God.
